Ten years ago, Atlanta voters passed the More MARTA referendum to fund public transit projects using a half penny sales tax. To this day, not a single project has been built. Instead of building transit, the city establishment has steamrolled voters, given handouts to corporate developers, and built Cop City. We deserve a green, affordable city and a government that invests in fighting climate change and raising the standard of living for working people - not militarized cops and luxury highrises no one can afford.
